For the new model year, the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2017 gets a raft of important innovations such as the new 1.6 JTDm 120 HP turbo diesel engine, nine engine versions, two packs (Lusso and Veloce), and three trim models (Giulietta Veloce, Giulietta Super, and base Giulietta). Pricing is yet to be announced, but the same reports speculate that the new model will be offered somewhere around the current model’s price of $25,760.

The Giulietta Veloce trim level, for instance, comes with new Alcantara and leather sport seats with “Alfa Romeo” written on the head restraints, and integrated head restraints embellished with contrasting red stitching. Also, specific matte grey inserts complement the carbon look finish door panels and dashboard surround. The contoured leather steering also comes with distinct red stitching.

For both the base and Giulietta Super trim models, Alfa Romeo has offered new black inserts on the door pulls and on the tunnel, a one-of-a-kind matte black dashboard, and grey and black fabric seats. Exclusively offered for the Super trim model include black and gray fabric “cannelloni” seats. Additional features available across the entire trim lineup include a 5” of 6.5” innovative Uconnect infotainment system, SMS reader and DAB device, Aux-in connector, a hands-free phone use and audio streaming, Bluetooth connectivity, a satellite navigation system, and a 3D birds-eye view maps.

For 2017, Giulietta buyers can opt for any of the following engines: a 1.4 Turbo Petrol engine able to generate 120 horsepower; a 150-hp –producing 1.4L Turbo Petrol; a 170-horsepower – producing 1.4L Turbo Petrol; a 2.0 JTDm able to produce 150 horsepower; a 1.6 JTDm offering 120 horsepower, and finally, a bi-fuel 1.4 TB offering 120 horsepower.
