A sporty appearance, spacious interior, and able handling is what you get with the new 2017 Dodge Dart. However, most aspects are outclassed by its rivals which offer better features and technologies. Its release date should be expected in late February.
Some of its highlights include a responsive handling and steering, an excellent optional touchscreen interface, and a spacious cabin. For 2017, buyers should expect a Rallye Appearance package on the SE trim, limited visual upgrades, and a Blacktop package for the GT model.
It has now been close to three years ever since the Dart debuted and heads to 2016 without much changes. That said, the vehicle comes with subtle changes on most parts including its performance. The most appealing thing though is the practical space that the Dart comes with inside. Taller people will find it very appealing.
Interior wise, it comes with a user-friendly, functional, and attractive cabin with a setup that rivals even the best vehicles in the segment. The performance-oriented GT model, too, offers an impressive handling.
However, little can be said of the engines beneath its hood. In theory though, the vehicle offers an impressive power output as well as EPA fuel economy ratings, however, in reality the opposite is true.
Also, the smaller turbocharged engine is mated to a lackluster automated0clutch transmission system that most of the time causes the powertrain to lurch especially at low acceleration.
That said, it’s only natural for anyone looking for a performance-oriented vehicle to look elsewhere. Other alternatives to expect include the 2017 Kia Forte, 2017 Mazda 3, 2017 VW Jetta, and 2017 Honda Civic.
