The redesigned 2017 Ford Mustang is an all-American muscle car that has been able to retain its trademark swagger and performance, and comes with even more desirable features and civilization than the Mustangs of the yesteryears. Read on for more news on engine specs, release dates, and price.
With an appealing choice of engines, a confident highway cruising, a well-appointed interior, and capable handling, the 2017 Ford Mustang is poised to make headlines once it is released. For 2017, though, buyers shouldn’t expect any radical changes as the vehicle is just coming off a previous redesign. But it shouldn’t been mistaken to mean the Mustang has lost the modern appeal, it comes chock full of it.
The Mustang is now a global product that has even made the luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Audi take notice. But don’t get us wrong, the fun-loving Mustang isn’t a luxury vehicle but its classy design and interior luxury are making the German luxury automakers think twice. And the catch here is, it’s undoubtedly an American performance icon that retains the tire-smoking exuberance expected of such cars.
Although mechanically unchanged, there are news pertaining its technology front. The Sync 3, for instance, has replaced the much-maligned MyFord Touch infotainment system. The new interface brings with it a simplified interface, swipe finger commands, and smartphone-like pinch.
Some common downsides to owning a Mustang include a cramped rear seat, and a bouncy ride quality on uneven surfaces. Otherwise, the Ford Mustang is essentially similar to the outgoing model apart from subtle changes. This year, the primary bogey to the Mustang remains the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. Others include the 2017 BMW 2 Series, the 2017 Dodge Challenger, and the 2017 Porsche 911.
