Although not a very practical vehicle, the new 2017 Land Rover Evoque is an appealing choice for buyers shopping for a compact luxury crossover. For 2017, buyers should look forward to an unrivaled off-road ability, an available two-door body style, impressive fuel economy rating, a beautiful exterior and interior design, and an excellent handling character. Its date of release should be expected in early 2017.
Land Rover has a reputation for building luxurious sport-utility vehicles that offer unrivalled off-road capability. Even so, the market today comes with a plethora of alternatives that offer tons of features besides offering utility. However, the Evoque has been able to ward off the competition when the asphalt turns to dirt.
Plenty of standard equipment are available inside the Evoque as you’d expect from such a reputed brand name as Land Rover. Changes are conspicuous even for its base model. The same story is written when it comes to the engines under its hood. The overall design is unique as is still a showstopper juts as it was four years back when it debuted for the first time.
But quite frankly, not even beautiful looks counts when it comes to this segment. And with downsides such as a lack of additional powertrains, more expensive sticker price, a cramped interior, and poor rear visibility, buyers might be prompted to look elsewhere in the segment if they find the faults simply unbearable.
There are several alternatives available to check out such as the 2017 BMW X3 that comes with superior acceleration, adequate interior room, and a high-quality interior. Also, the X3 offers multiple engine choices for its buyers including a fuel-shy diesel one. The other choice we’d recommend is the high-performing, spacious, and smooth 2017 Audi Q5. Others in the segment include both the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class and the 2017 Lexus NX 200t.
