For 2017, the 3 gains a sunroof, automatic wipers, automatic headlights, a rearview camera, lots of standard features, and the 3i Sport trim now becomes the standard trim model. If you’re shopping for a hatchback or a compact sedan these days, you expect it to be reliable, fuel-efficient, safe, packed with latest technological tidbits, and offers a spacious interior.

However, within this price range is a plethora of cars that meet the requirements, but very few of them can offer better handling, performance, and engaging driving experience than the Mazda 3. To start with, the Mazda 3 comes with a standard 2.0L engine that delivers an impressive power output and laudable fuel consumption rating.

Of course, the new Mazda 3 2017 still comes with some faulty features including uncomfortable 18” optional wheels, an above-average ride quality, and substantial wind noise. Other great choices to check out include 2016 Ford Focus, 2017 Kia Forte and Honda Civic 2017.
