With the third generation of the vehicle still going we are getting an updated 2019 Hyundai Tucson. The latest Tucson received its last generation retooling in 2016. The vehicle was released back then and showcased at the Geneva Auto Show. This forthcoming model is going to continue the line of vehicles that are going under the Tucson banner. We are confident that the details that have been released so far will make this car a fairly good one.
There are scarce details about the release date although many details about the car are already familiar. The vehicle will add some much needed changes. These are not going to change things so much but will give a nice refresh to the brand which needed some pampering. All in all, the updated version and the 2019 Hyundai Tucson is going to be available for next year. Even though the number in front of the name says 2019, expect to get the car by the end of 2018.
What Price can we Expect for the 2019 Hyundai Tucson?
Generally speaking, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson is not going to go beyond the current price so much. With this vehicle you are getting all the perks as the previous one. But you will add some much needed updates that will keep it afloat. In fact, we are liking this car even more by the second. The base price will be somewhere around $22,700 as a base MSRP. It will depend at which trim version you are looking at but the vehicle will not go too much beyond the limit of some of the established models.
It will also depend on the powertrain choice as that too can affect the price in a big way. You can expect all of the previous trim versions to make a comeback and be featured against. It all starts with the base and standard SE, then you have the Eco, Sport and finally the Limited as the highest tier version. The price for the highest trim and also your most expensive offer is about $31,175.
Latest Rumors about the 2019 Hyundai Tucson
There were a ton of rumors with the 2019 Hyundai Tucson’s entrance on the scene. First and foremost, most of the people were regarding this as a much bigger updated. Much of the people were expecting to see a lot of changes for the car. This includes them going as far as to state that the Tucson was supposed to get a new generation model. But the new generation vehicle seems implausible for the moment.
First of all, the current third-generation is fairly fresh so it would be illogical for them to change the car now and introduce an entirely new one. It has already proven to be stable and shows a lot of commitment that a lot of the other rivaling cars don’t. Thus the real through is that this is a minor refresh. An update which will not change the car significantly but will help it change just enough in order to be a competitive and stable car on the market.
Exterior Updates and Changes for the 2019 Hyundai Tucson
Generally speaking, 2019 Hyundai Tucson looks as bold as it ever did. It is a model which will build upon the successes that the previous model has already established and made for it. The hexagonal grill with vertical slats is still there and the front fascia has adopted an interesting and an upright look. The lower apron has horizontally orientated surrounds added, while the LED headlights are wider compared to before.
If you look at the profile, the changes made to the previous car will be kept. This includes the A-pillars that have been positioned a bit towards the back. But now, a sharply rising accent line has been added that runs the course from the front wheel arch and goes all the way to the taillights. It makes it look much more interesting compared to before and seemingly gives it a modern look.
The back end has arguably gone through the least amount of changes. The 2019 Hyundai Tucson keeps the slim taillights and the lower bumper from the last time. This Tucson is a car which has already adopted a more serious theme. The newest SUV is small but is very stable and makes it a very interesting and sharp car to have.
Is the 2019 Hyundai Tucson Adding new Colors?
For now it is not certain what colors will the 2019 Hyundai Tucson add. There is certainly an idea to add new color variants and it would be fabulous part of the new update to have them. This one is no different and it will keep the same kind of size which we had the last time. It includes a full length of 176.18 Inches and a wheelbase of 105.11 Inches. The height is 64.76 Inches and the width is still 72.83 Inches.

Some special additions which are not available for the Limited version and since the 2019 model include a 315-watt Infinity premium audio system which will also feature Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology.
