The redesigned Buick LaCrosse for 2017 is well-rounded sedan that drives nicely and pampers its occupants. Some of the highlights include top crash test scores, sleek interior with up-to-date technology, an available all-wheel-drive system, and a serene and luxurious ride quality. Its release date should be expected this August.
New features to debut alongside the 2017 LaCrosse include unique 18” wheels, a new Sport Touring package, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an updated IntelliLink infotainment system, and a standard power driver seat.
The new 2017 Buick LaCrosse, being Buick’s flagship sedan, offers traditional Buick features such as generous accommodations and size. As one would expect, the vehicle comes with copious head-and legroom rivaled only by executive-class sedans such as Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.
Given Buick’s history, you might assume that the LaCrosse isn’t a snooze. Fortunately, this is the case with the 2017 LaCrosse, as the vehicle employs a choice of two impressive engines under its hood. You have a choice of either the mild-hybrid four-cylinder code-named eAssist or the V6 rated at 304 hp engine.
While you might be impressed by the eAssist impressive fuel economy ratings, we are not convinced that it is enough reason to forgo the available all-wheel-drive and the additional V6 power.
Regardless of the engine choice, every model comes with an impressive feature list and a well-equipped and stylish cabin. For instance, it comes with an upgraded IntelliLink infotainment system that comes with two USB ports, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, smartphone app integration, and a revised touchscreen interface.
Despite the irresistible feature and technology list the LaCrosse comes with, there are other contenders in the segment that will definitely give it a run for its money. They include the 2017 Toyota Avalon, 2017 Lexus ES, 2017 Chevrolet Impala, and the RWD 2017 Chrysler 300.
