The new 2017 Dodge RAM 2500 is a top contender in the segment thanks to its comfortable ride quality, a high-quality cabin, a highly off-road-capable Power wagon, tremendous towing and hauling capabilities. Its release date should be expected sometime in the latter half of next year, at least according to recent news.
If you’re looking for a full-size pickup that offers monumental hauling and towing, then its time you checked out the 2017 Dodge RAM 2500. It’s a workhorse that ensures the job gets done regardless of the magnitude. Similar to its RAM 1500 brethren, it comes with different box length choices, powertrain, and cabins. The only dissimilarity, though, between itself and its smaller sibling lies in its superior hauling and towing.
To put the figures in perspective, the heavy-duty 2500 pickup offers a maximum towing capacity of 17,980 lbs. but even with such an impressive ability, there are several competitors that can match the figures. Here is the catch, the rear suspension’s coil spring enables the 2500 to offer a more compliant ride whether you’re driving around with an empty bed or towing a load.
Some of the rivals nipping its heels here include the Ford F-250 and the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. But even with such desirable alternatives available in its segment, the RAM 2500 outpaces them in terms of its inviting interior refinement, and superb utility.
