Relative to their fixed-roof siblings, convertibles, as a general rule, are a bit heavier and softer. They often trade out some performance for an opportunity to transform into a suntan bed at a moment’s notice. In stark contrast however, the Boxster Convertible is the right opposite.

The Panamera Junior Model to be Called 2019 Porsche Pajun

People are wondering what the 2019 Porsche Pajun presents and what could it be. Well, in fact Porsche is getting ready to offer their audience a full fleet of vehicles which are supposed to fill in all the necessary cracks that have been created within the immense Porsche roster. The idea behind the Porsche Pajun model came quite recently and is in fact one of the more interesting approaches that Porsche is trying to pull.

The idea behind Porsche’s success is to try and fill in the market with enough luxury brands and models so everyone gets to be happy and enjoys their own car in the necessary way. That is why the roster of cars that they offer has every piece of model that one might need. The 911 vehicle is a full-fledged sports car. The Cayenne is the company’s first and most successful SUV model. Many people thought the idea of a Porsche-based SUV would not work but the Cayenne is the evidence that everything is possible. The Panamera model is the company’s sports sedan model and the versatility it offers is not met by many cars in the segment. It has enough comfort for your family members and the kids to enjoy while it can give you enough speed and power necessary for any circumstances.

So you would say that they have all of the things covered, right? Well yes and no, because they have managed to plug in all of the bigger holes and are now dealing with the small cracks between them that are left. We have all heard about one such vehicles which came out in 2013, which is the Porsche Cajun. This model was meant to bridge the gap that was created and is actually also known as the baby Cayenne model. So after the creation of Cajun, why not create a Pajun, or a baby Panamera model. The baby Panamera is the latest model that Porsche is planning to make and will be the next featured car in their attempt to bring an entirely new offer for the fans.

Assumptions about the Powertrain

Although there are still many parts about the 2019 Porsche Pajun which are not familiar to us and a lot of it still has to be determined, we are dealing with a lot of information which is only an estimation. One of them is regarding the powertrain of the potential Pajun car. As we are assuming also that this is going to be a rear-wheel drive model, we are probably looking at a potential of using a turbocharged direct-injection V6 engine which is capable of making probably somewhere between 400 horsepower and 550 hp.

But it just may so happen that multiple engines get to be used as well. For now they have multiple options on the table. One such is a 3.0 liter TDI engine, outputting 265 harrower, which could prove to be a good choice but there is also the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 which goes all the way to 600 horsepower. We are not going to abandon the possibility of a hybrid powertrain making it here as well as there are many Porsche cars which are already turning towards the green technology.

What About an All-Electric Car

If Porsche decides to really tackle the market and present something extraordinary to their fans, then they might go for an all-electric car. There are no confirmation to support this claim but there is a great possibility that this might come to fruition. Porsche has not made an electronic car so far but the popularity of such vehicles is rising. They are going to be direct rivals to Tesla if they do so and will need to tackle their Model S vehicles in that case.

Some Design Details

What we were able to guess correctly about the 2019 Porsche Pajun is that it will be built on the same MSB platform-modular sports car matrix which the Panamera is built on. This does not come as a surprise as it would be the easiest to make the car this way and offer in the same versatility that the bigger Panamera has. It will come with some advanced features to help with the driving ability of the car and predictions include a dual-clutch PDK transmission and even ceramic brakes, but it will also come with an offered all-wheel drive also. The original models is going to be a five-door coupe car and we are probably going to get some other ones as Porsche may look to expand the lineup. A convertible version and a sedan will probably be offered along the line but the initial version is going to make its debut soon.

What to Expect for the Release Date of the 2019 Porsche Pajun?

The prospect of the 2019 Porsche Pajun or the baby Panamera as how we will certainly call it looks pretty nice. The model is a great addition to the Porsche’s already packed roster of cars. But it does not seem at all that this model is going to be an excessive vehicle to have. The idea behind it is great and we will see when they decide to greenlight the project. The release date might be still far away but the starting idea is very promising.
